Abstract

In this work, the mechanical optimization for generating of equally spaced phase shifting steps is proposed for the phase difference extraction between a reference and a probe object in a double aperture common-path interferometer. Design and simulated results are shown for the gears mechanical transmission system proposed to increase the precision and control of a transverse traslation difraction grating; in order to obtain equidistant linear displacements
