Abstract

This article chronologically brings together evidence gathered through interviews and references from the UPAEP timeline on the development of the Physics Area. It also includes the participation and contributions that this area has made to bring more students and the general public closer to the exact sciences and engineering; it also compiles the perspectives that teachers in this academy have for the medium and long term.
