The present study establishes the design of a methodological model to carry out an availability analysis of a workstation for workshop welding practices. Inside the workshop welding, use is made of booths which must have certain operating characteristics that range from ergonomics, electrical variables and environmental conditions to the integrity of the machine. The proposal of a supervisory system for the analysis of availability of a work cabin for workshop welding is obtained under the adaptation of a RAM (Reliability - Availability - Maintainability) methodology and the characterization of a work station is developed in order to obtain a model of supervision. Although there are multiple applications for industrial maintenance of this methodology, those relating to welding workstation processes are very limited and focus, for the most part, towards the final product, which is the welded part. In this way, if the maintenance management indexes that determine the maintainability of the process are known, a predictive model can be developed in order to guarantee its availability
