Abstract

Belarus remained almost unnoticed on the European map since the disintegration of the Soviet Union and little was mentioned about this former Soviet country. However, after the August 2020 elections, the situation in this country has become the focus of world attention. The objective of this work is to study the trajectory of Belarus as an independent country after the disintegration of the Soviet Union to which it belonged as a federated republic, its trajectory and its achievements, in addition to analyzing its position on the map of Europe and the value geopolitical of it
